Chapter 6 · 6.6
Saving a presentation as PDF or PPTX
Euro-Office automatically saves your presentation in the format you opened it in, for example pptx. Want a different format? Click File and then Download as.

- PPTX: for PowerPoint. Choose this if you're sending the presentation to someone who uses PowerPoint.
- ODP: for LibreOffice Impress and other open-source programmes.
- PDF: to send or print the presentation. The recipient sees it exactly as you do, but can't change anything. Animations and transitions aren't included.
- PPSX: a PowerPoint slideshow that starts presenting straight away when you open it.
- POTX or OTP: as a template for new presentations.
- JPG or PNG: each slide as an image, for example for social media or a website.
With File and Save Copy As, you save a copy in a different format in your Nextcloud instead of on your computer.
Printing as a handout
Click File and then Print (or Ctrl + P). This prints the slides as they appear on screen. Want multiple slides per page? Choose that in your browser's print window, or download the presentation as PDF first.
