Using the Dashboard and apps together
The apps in your WebOké Nextcloud work together. Cards from Deck appear in your Calendar, tasks appear on your Dashboard and a Talk meeting appears in your calendar. This way, you don't need to visit every app to see what needs doing today.
Deck cards with a deadline
- In Deck, under Upcoming cards, you'll find all cards with a due date from all your boards.
- If you switch on the Show boards in calendar/tasks option in Deck settings, each board gets its own calendar in the Calendar app and its own list in the Tasks app. You can read exactly how this works in A Deck board with deadlines in your calendar.
The Dashboard
The Dashboard is your home page. Click Customise at the bottom; in the Edit widgets window, tick the blocks you want to see. Useful blocks for collaboration:

More combinations
- Calendar and Talk: add the link to a Talk conversation to the location field of an appointment. The meeting then appears on the Home page of Talk. See Video calling and meetings: camera, microphone, background and raising your hand.
- Talk and Files: share a file in a conversation and edit it together. See Sharing files and viewing them together in a conversation.
- Forms and Euro-Office: have the answers to a form sent to a spreadsheet. See A survey with the answers straight into a spreadsheet.
- Search: the search field at the top of Nextcloud searches files, Talk messages, Deck cards, notes, calendar and contacts all at once.
- Smart links: paste a link to a Deck card or file into Talk, Notes or Text, and Nextcloud will show a preview with the title and status.
