Chapter 14 · 14.3
Assigning and ordering extra Office licences
If you want to edit documents, spreadsheets and presentations with Euro-Office in your WebOké Nextcloud, you need an Office Suite licence. You buy a licence per user. You can find step-by-step instructions for ordering and assigning licences in the Euro-Office manual: Ordering Office licences and assigning them to users. Here you can read a short summary of how it works and what Office changes in your Nextcloud.
How it works, in brief
- On the package page in My WebOké, under Configurable options, set the number of Nextcloud Office users, click Save options, and pay the difference for the rest of your billing period.
- Under User management, switch on the Office Suite toggle for the user who should receive the licence.
- The user reloads Nextcloud and can start working with Euro-Office straight away.
| Package | Maximum number of Office licences |
|---|---|
| Free | No Office |
| Personal | 1 |
| Family | 5 |
| Max | 25 |
What Office changes in your Nextcloud
As soon as your package has at least one Office Suite licence, extra apps appear:
- For everyone in your package: Talk (chat, calls and meetings), Forms and Collectives.
- Only for users with a licence: Euro-Office, Tables and Analytics.
If the number of licences drops back to zero, we switch these apps off again. The data is kept and returns if you take out Office again later. You can find an overview of all the apps in Which apps are included in my package?.
Tip: a licence isn't tied to a specific person. If someone no longer needs Euro-Office, switch off their Office Suite toggle and give the licence to someone else. You can read more about users and the office team in Managing users and teams for Office.
